Kaipola | Banana cake recipe

Kaipola or you can call it as banana cake to make it something better, is a famous malabari dish. It is one of the easiest dish to make even by those who don't know much about cooking.
Ingredients :

  • Banana - 3 nos
  • Egg - 4 nos
  • Sugar - 3 table spoon
  • Cardamon powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Cashew
  • Resins
  • Ghee - 2 tsp
How to prepare?

  • Take well ripened bananas, peel it off and cut into small pieces.
  • Take egg, sugar and cardamon powder in a bowl and beat it properly.
  • Take some ghee in a pan and fry the bananas until it becomes slightly brown in colour and keep aside.
  • Fry the cashews and resins also and keep it aside.
  • Add the bananas to the egg sugar mixture and mix it properly.
  • Take a pan and greese it with ghee and add the mixture into it.
  • Add the cashew and resins over the mixture.
  • Cover the pan and cook it for 15-20 minutes in low flame.
  • You can check whether its ready or not by inserting a tooth pick.If it comes out easily,  its ready.
  • Let it cool and serve after some time.
