Mammooty is not a type of person who eats whatever he gets. He have a strict diet plan, but also some cheat days. Before going to his favourite foods, lets check what all he avoids. He stays away from junk foods like chips and oily and foods and also from carbohydrate rich foods.He usually avoids rice for lunch and instead eats puttu. He also stays away from sweets and ice creams.
Home made food is the best food in the world.Mammootty also like home made food than others. He always accompany his personal chef with him wherever he goes. 'He eats half a puttu for lunch instead of rice, he wants fish curry made with coconut mixture with puttu and he doesn't eat fried fish' said his personal chef to manorama. Long beans mezhukupuratty, and some salads tossed with pepper are also his favourites.
Coming to the evening tea, the actor doesn't eat any snacks with tea.As i said he mostly tries to avoid oily foods and snacks. Dosas and lightly spiced chicken curries will be his first option for dinner. For mainitining his fittness and look, the actor ates very less. Coming to meat, Beef and Mutton are his favourites, but not regularly. Being a malayali, He likes sadya.If there is Onam celebration in the film sets he have sadya with very less rice.
Every diet should have a cheat food. Mammootty prefer Mutton Biriyani as his cheat meal.He asks his personal chef to cook him biriyani whenever he feels to have some fresh biriyani.
